DIVERSITY CHAMPIONS

FACTS

  • Canadian neighbourhoods and businesses are  exceedingly diverse today.

  • The skills to leverage diversity can mean the difference between success or failure in business or career today.

CHALLENGES

  • Communication is essential to diversity.

  • Every person and cultural group communicate differently.

  • Raised in a certain way, it is difficult for one to adapt overnight.

OPPORTUNITY

Academic institutions are the best venues for future leaders to learn, practice, and cultivate the skills to leverage diversity.

The 3 STEPS TO:

Training and Connecting Students to Leverage Diversity and Thrive in Business and Career

1

Let's Partner

Behavioural Skills Company invites academic institutions to partner in the "Diversity Champions" program.

2

Diversity Training Workshop

For absolutely no cost to the students or academic institutions, Behavioural Skills Company conducts a 2-Hour Diversity Training Workshop. Packed with highly interactive exercises, engaging video clippings, and brainstorm sessions, this workshop will equip participants with the following insights and skills:

  • A framework to understand how culture influences individual identity.

  • Communication styles appropriate to high or low context cultures.

  • A better understanding of self and others.

3

Trained Students:

  • Initiate a local chapter of "Diversity Champions Club" at the respective educational institutions to:

    • Continue future interaction

    • Plan and implement similar initiatives at their institution

    • Connect with members of Diversity Champions Club at other institutions

  • Have their short profiles posted on the " Diversity Champions Club" page of the Behavioural Skills Company's website.
